Did you know that in the past, children’s clay whistles were more than just toys?
In Ukrainian folk tradition, they were often believed to be protective talismans. People thought that by blowing into a whistle and saying special words, parents could help ward off negative energy and protect a child’s health.

This belief inspired our Horsey pendant.
Its design is based on a historical artifact — a horse-shaped clay whistle from the exhibition “Kyiv’s Talisman” at the Museum of the History of Kyiv. The original piece was discovered in the Podil district in 1993 and is over 500 years old.

That is how our silver Horse was born — a modern talisman for those who want to feel a connection to history beyond museum walls, through everyday wear, touch, and form.

Across cultures, the horse symbolizes nobility, freedom, and inner strength — meanings we thoughtfully embedded into this piece.
