Collection: BORN IN THE FOREST

The jewelry from this collection was almost literally born in the forest. Each ring is an imprint of real tree bark that I found in a Syrian dendrological park, not far from where I used to live. I really enjoy doing something 'for real,' not imitating a texture with tools, but making an imprint from something that actually exists.

I remember how I collected a bunch of everything and for a very long time sifted through various pieces of bark to stop at the same ones that were perfectly suitable for the embodiment of future jewelry.

Not long ago, I found two more sticks in my supplies that I had previously overlooked. One turned out to be a wonderful ring and 'VINE' earrings, and I will finish the other one sometime in the future.
