Collection: SYLYANKA

Historically, traditional Ukrainian jewelry such as gerdany, sylyanky-komiry, voluminous weavings, and kryzy served both protective and aesthetic purposes. These adornments were meant to shield their wearer from negative external influences, surround them with "positive energy," and be visually appealing. Moreover, being in an environment of beauty is an incomprehensible spiritual need for humans.

With the heightened existential risks facing our country, modern Ukrainian women have revived the tradition of wearing beaded jewelry, skillfully combining it with everyday, office, or festive attire. Inspired by this revival and filtering these creations through my own vision, I wanted to weave them using tiny silver beads instead of traditional seed beads.
