Jewelry texture

When placing an order in our studio, we always clarify the texture of the future product. The texture can be glossy, matte, forged, and brushed. It does not affect the final price of the product.

Today, we will provide more detailed information about them, and, of course, show examples.

  • Glossy - created to shine and dazzle.

Certainly, it's a classic. A perfectly smooth surface and ideal shine. Glossy texture is considered quite wear-resistant: although the initial scratches/wear may be visible at first, they will naturally polish themselves during wear. The glossy shine lasts for a long time, especially in gold products.

  • Matte Texture

Matte-Texture

Lately, it has been capturing the hearts of many people as it looks quite fresh and unusual. The shine of the metal is slightly muted, leaving a soft glow. Achieving this effect can be done by providing the surface with slight roughness mechanically. Micro-scratches that appear after processing the surface should be perfectly parallel to each other and not too deep. In terms of wear resistance, acquired scratches on a matte surface will be more noticeable, and the texture itself may naturally become more glossy over time. But, as they say, love conquers all.

To restore the initial perfect matte texture, you can return the jewelry to our studio for refurbishment.

  • Forged Texture

Forged-Texture

Forged texture is the favorite of 90% of the participants in our "From Scratch" workshops because it creates a unique and "playful" pattern. The play of this texture with sunlight literally makes you "stick" and not take your eyes off your ring for a minute ❤️

Forged texture can be done in glossy and matte variations.

  • Brushed Texture

Brushed-Texture

Brushed texture is created through rough processing with a diamond jewelry drill. As a result, playing with the sunlight, one might think that millions of micro diamonds are shining and shimmering.

Scratches obtained during the wear of such jewelry will be practically invisible, and this is another pleasant feature.

  • Textured Finish

Textured-Finish

Textured - that's what we call it.

Like brushed, it is created through sequential steel processing. However, the scratches obtained during processing are deeper and more visible, even from a distance. The durability of this texture is the highest among all mentioned.

Choose your favorite texture that has touched your heart. And, of course, take care of your jewelry carefully to preserve their beauty for as long as possible!
